Cumbria's

background hills, with the Irish Sea and its ever-changing moods providing a
stimulating panoramic view to delight the eye and frequently present the
onlooker with the most breathtakingly beautiful sunsets that they have ever
seen. The island is unsurpassed in natural beauty, and the ten mile expanse
provides visitor and resident alike with ample space to explore the sand
dunes and seashore.
Park Facilities
West
Shore Park offers comfortable homes in a secure environment which
accommodates the retired and semi retired. All homes are connected
to mains services and pets are welcome. There
is a well stocked mini market on the park offering a comprehensive range of
goods and services such as a cash machine and lottery terminal. A regular bus service
to Barrow in Furness leaves the park entrance at 20 minute intervals. In addition there is a free
bus service to two local supermarkets. Adjacent facilities include
a superb beach and an 18 hole golf course. Open plan lawn areas are
maintained by the park staff, and you will find well-surfaced roads, with
automatic street lighting in operation from dusk till dawn. There is
adequate access paths to all homes, plentiful parking for your car. A
post box is situated near to the park office. A
friendly resident park manager is on hand for help and advice on any
subject.
